Uninstalling the video drivers

To uninstall video drivers

  1. Start Windows®.

  2. Click Start.

  3. Point to Control Panel.

  4. Click Add/Remove Programs.

  5. Select ATI Display Driver from the list of software programs.

  6. Click the Change/Remove button.

    The ATI uninstall dialog appears.

  7. Click Yes to remove the ATI Display Driver.

  8. Click Yes to restart your computer.


Reinstalling the video drivers

To reinstall video drivers

  1. With Windows®  running on your computer, insert the Dell ResourceCD into your CD/DVD-ROM drive.

  2. If the Dell ResourceCD window does not open automatically, double click on My Computer on your desktop and then double click on the CD/DVD-ROM drive containing the Dell ResourceCD.

  3. Follow the instructions provided by the Dell ResourceCD to locate the video drivers package for your card.

  4. Once you have located the package, select the package to unzip the drivers on to the hard drive and install the drivers.

  5. At the Setup Complete screen, select Yes and click Finish to restart your system.


Power Source Warning Message

Caution: Please refer to safety instructions in your system documentation before opening the cover of your computer.

Your 128MB DDR ATI Radeon™ 9700 TX with TV-Out controller requires an internal auxiliary DC power source. If the controller's internal power extension cable is disconnected, a warning message will be displayed on your screen and your system will not start.
