Overview

Dell Movie Studio Plus consists of an Emuzed PCI Card and a breakout box for Analog and Digital (DV), audio and video capture, playback and editing applications.

Features

The Dell Movie Studio Plus Features are:

1.	Record analog (Composite / S-Video) or digital (DV) video to disk.
	·	Contrast, Brightness and Hue Adjustments for incoming video
2.	Record analog (RCA jacks) or digital (DV) audio to disk.
3.	Playback audio and video to analog (Composite / S-Video) and DV devices.

I/O

PCI Card consists of:

·	15- pin male High Density D-Sub (VGA Type) connector
·	Two 6- pin IEEE1394 connectors
·	33MHz PCI connector (dual voltage)

Break Out Box (BOB) consists of:

·	Composite Video Input (RCA)
·	S-Video Input (4-pin mini DIN)
·	Stereo Audio Line In (Dual RCA)
·	Six foot 15-pin cable (connects to PCI card)
·	Composite Video Output (RCA)
·	S-Video Output (4-pin mini DIN)
·	Stereo Audio Line Out (Dual RCA).

Software...

The Dell Movie Studio Plus hardware comes with the following software:

	·	WDM driver (AtlsVid.sys; AtlsAud.sys)
	·	inf files (AtlsVid.inf; AtlsAud.inf)
	·	Hardware diagnostic application (Start Menu >Programs > Dell Movie Studio > Hardware Diagnostics).

Dell Movie Studio Plus uses Roxio's VideoWave Movie Creator as the software editing application. The Operating System to be used is Microsoft Windows XP.

Drivers use standard Microsoft Direct Show property sets. The drivers and the diagnostic software can be found on the Dell Movie Studio Installation CD. An Install Shield is provided to make installation simple. Store the software CD that comes with your system in a safe place in case you need to reinstall the software.

Platform Requirements

	·	Microsoft Windows XP
	·	> 7200 RPM Disk Drive (Note: Disk DMA must be enabled for proper operation.)
	·	Minimum 128MB RAM, 256MB Recommended
	·	1.8GHz Processor, 400 MHz Front Side Bus
	·	DirectX 8.1 or higher

	·	Breakout box (BOB) with one 6-foot cable attached (15-pin Emuzed)
	·	Quick Install Guide (single-sheet placemat)
