Bluetooth™

CAUTION: Before performing the following procedures, read the safety instructions in your System Information Guide.

NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as the back panel) on the computer.

1. Follow the instructions in "Preparing to Work Inside the Computer" to remove the battery and prepare the computer for work.
   
   
2. Turn the computer over, loosen the captive screw in the Bluetooth module cover, and remove the cover.

3. Remove the existing module:
   
   
   1. Pull the Bluetooth module out of the slot.
      
      
   2. Disconnect the cable from the module.

4. Ensure that the front of the Bluetooth module (silver) is facing outward, and connect the cable to the module.
   
   
5. Insert the module into the slot.
   
   
6. Replace the cover and tighten the captive screw.
