If you are replacing an existing drive, determine whether your old drive has an IDE
interface, then disconnect and remove the old drive from the system.
Verify that the jumper is set to CSEL (Cable Select) The jumper is located at the Jumper
Connector.

Using the IDE cable provided with the system, connect the drive's IDE Interface
Connector to the existing secondary IDE connector.

sound card or the system motherboard (if necessary).
Connect the power cable to the Power Connector of the DVD+R/RW drive.

Device Drivers
When using Windows 2000 or Windows XP, no special device driver is required.
Insert an Audio CD into the drive. On most systems running Windows 98/98-SE or later,
the auto-insert notification will cause the CD Player to launch automatically and begin
playing the disc. If the disc doesn't play automatically, the CD Player software will have
to be launched manually, and the Play button clicked in order to verify audio playback.
