Use of Ultra Speed CD-RW Media
WARNING: Only drives (such as the SONY CD-RW CRX216E)
bearing the logo "Compact Disc ReWritable Ultra Speed" can write or erase
Ultra Speed CD-RW media.
Ultra Speed CD-RW Media may be recognized by the same "Compact Disc
ReWritable Ultra Speed" logo on the disc label or packaging material, or
by the fact that it lists recording speeds of "Up to 32X."
Writing and erasing operations to Ultra Speed CD-RW media include
but are not limited to:
1) File drag and drop to Ultra Speed CD-RW media via DirectCD. 2) File copy to Ultra Speed CD-RW media via Easy CD Creator. 3) Any other file/data transfer to Ultra Speed CD-RW media via Easy
CD Creator and DirectCD.
Attempted writes to Ultra Speed CD-RW media using CD-RW drives NOT
bearing the logo "Compact Disc ReWritable Ultra Speed" may result in data
loss.

This CD-RW drive should be used only in its current hardware and software
configuration.
Front View
Headphone Connector
The audio output connector enables you to plug stereo headphones into
the drive. It requires a 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack.
Volume Control Dial
This control dial adjusts the volume for your headphones. You can only
use the headphone jack and volume control when you have installed the required
software utilities. For example, Microsoft Windows Media Player can be
used.
Indicator Light
The light blinks when there is drive activity.
Disc Tray
The disc tray opens and closes automatically when you press the eject
button.
* When you place a disc in the tray, make sure that the label on the
disc is facing outwards. If you are not loading or unloading a disc, the
tray should remain closed.
Emergency Eject Hole
If the disc tray does not open when you press the eject button, power
off the computer, insert a pin or unfolded paper clip in the hole and push
firmly.
