Playing Files

When you feel like playing files, follow the instructions in the next section, Creating a playlist, to select, assemble, save, and rearrange Playlists for your viewing pleasure.

Creating Playlists

NOTE: The following section is only for the default skin. If you are using a skin that allows switching of modes, please switch to File Mode first before following the instructions below.
  1. Click Menu for the Playlist dialog box. Begin selecting your file(s) by exploring your hard drives (left side) and selecting folders which have video and audio content. Click Add or Remove as you are creating your list.

NOTE: If playing more than one file, be sure to consider the order in which you add to the Playlist, for this order will be final unless you use the shuffle or repeat functions.
  1. Switch to File Types (default is Browser) and select the desired files to be displayed so as to speed up your search. Click Clear All to reset your file types.

NOTE: You may also enlarge your window by pointing to the right corner and resizing the dialog box accordingly.
  1. Click Load List... if you have playlists in the .PLS format.

  2. If you would like to save your newly created playlist, click Save List... after you are done. Choose a location and click Save.

  3. Click OK after you are satisfied with your current list.

  4. Now, click Play . Use the Shuffle , Repeat , or Number Pad for added convenience.

Shuffling Tracks

After creating a playlist with more than one file, click Shuffle . Files will then be played randomly.

Using the Number Pad

After you have created a playlist, directly enter the disc track or file you want to play. Your entry will appear in the display area.
