Now that you have completed the setup of your Wireless Network,
you can start sharing files and printers. This is helpful if, for
example, your home has 3 computers and only one printer. With
Wireless Networking, you can configure your network so that all 3
computers can share the same printer.
To enable File and Printer Sharing you will need to do the
following:
Enable sharing on the files you wish to share (Sharing
files)
Installing the File & Printer Sharing
Do the following on every computer
to install the File and printer sharing service:
Click Start->Settings->ControlPanel.
Double click the Network icon.
If you see the File and Print Sharing... tabthen go to step 7 of this section.
If the File and Print Sharing... tab is not present
click on the Add tab.
Select Service then the Add tab.
Select File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks
and click OK.
Next, add the NetBEUI protocol. To do this click on the
Add tab
Select Protocol then the Add tab.
Select Microsoft in the Manufacturers box and
NetBEUI in the NetworkProtocol box. Click
OK.
Click on the File and Print Sharing... tab that now
appears. If it is not there, click OK and restart your
computer. Return to this step and click on the tab.
Place a check mark in both boxes and click OK.
To complete your
Peer-Peer Network setup perform the following steps:
Select the TCP/IP (Shared) listing and then click on
the Properties tab. If you are prompted with a warning
message, click OK.
Click on the Bindings tab and clear the check mark
next to File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks.
Click OK.

listing and then click on the Properties tab. If you are
prompted with a warning message, click OK.

next to File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks.
