Removing the Tilt/Swivel Base
Tilt/Swivel Base
With the built-in pedestal, you can tilt and/or swivel the monitor for the most comfortable viewing angle.

Note: The tilt/swivel base is attached when the monitor is shipped and can be removed. |
- Turn off the monitor and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
- Disconnect the power cord and signal cable from the monitor.
- Place the monitor panel-side down on a stable, padded, flat work surface.
- Remove the four mounting plate retaining screws. One screw at each corner. Lift the tilt/swivel base up and away from the monitor.
- Turn off the monitor and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
- Disconnect the power cord and signal cable from the monitor.
- Place the monitor panel-side down on a stable, padded, flat work surface.
- Align the screw holes on the swivel base with the corresponding holes on the back of the monitor.

Note: The base aligns with the monitor screw holes in only one position. |
- Insert and loosely secure the four screws on the base. Tighten the screws in an alternating pattern and make sure not to over-tighten.
- Attach the power cord and the appropriate signal cable(s) to the connectors on the back of the monitor and feed them through the hole in the base.
