Connecting the Keyboard

  • Find the USB receptacle on the rear panel or the front of the computer. The receptacle is rectangular and typically, there are two side-by-side, either vertically or horizontally (see figure below)

  • Plug the keyboard USB connector into an USB receptacle
  • NOTENote: Never attempt to force the plug into the receptacle if it does not fit!


Setup

No setup is required for the Dell™ USB Enhanced Multimedia Keyboard, that is part of your original system configuration.


Adjusting the Keyboard Legs

The angle of the keyboard can be adjusted by lowering or raising the legs on the bottom of the keyboard. It is recommended that you choose the option that minimizes the bending of your wrists while typing.


Attaching the Palm Rest to Keyboard

Attach the Palm Rest tabs to the openings on the underside and at the front of the keyboard.
