Symptoms

Possible Problem

Solution

All Indicators are off

Verify all connections:

1) Outlet to Power Adapter

2) Adapter to Subwoofer

3) Subwoofer to Satellite

Connect all power and signal cables

Power switch on the rear of the right satellite is "Off"

Press switch to turn the system on

Adapter is not working or AC is not

being supplied to the adapter

A light on the rear of the subwoofer will be on when the adapter is powered and working.

No Sound From Speakers

Volume setting is too low

Raise master volume control

Signal cable is disconnected from sound card

Connect signal cable

af

Right (Control) Speaker is disconnected

Connect Right (Control) speaker

Subwoofer/Speakers emits very loud humming/buzzing noise

Signal cable is not completed inserted into signal jack on subwoofer

Make sure signal cable is inserted snugly into signal jack on both the sound card and speakers

No sound from subwoofer

Subwoofer volume is too low

Turn the bass control clockwise

Sound is distorted

Volume level is too high

Decrease master volume level

Not enough treble/Too much treble

Treble setting is too low or too high

Turn treble control clockwise to increase setting or counter-clockwise to decrease.

Not enough bass/Too much bass

Bass setting is too low or too high

Turn bass control clockwise to increase setting or counter-clockwise to decrease.

No sound from Left Speaker

Left speaker not connected to the right speaker

Plug the cable from the left speaker into the jack labeled "Left Speaker" on the rear of the right satellite speaker.

No sound from Subwoofer

Music source has no bass content

Use alternate music source: CD, WAV file, etc.
