Back Cover Assembly: Dell™ Latitude™ CP and CPi

To remove the back cover assembly, follow these steps:

1. Close the display.
2. Remove the (12) 5-mm screws securing the back cover:
   • 5 screws on the underside of the back cover
   • 1 screw behind the docking connector door
   • 6 screws on the face of the back cover
3. Close the docking connector door.
4. Remove the back cover assembly by grasping the right end of the back cover assembly firmly and unsnapping it from the computer. Then disengage the left end of the back cover assembly.
